The Down Syndrome Association of Inland Empire (formerly Down Syndrome Association of Hemet) was founded in 2006 by parents who desired to build a community of acceptance and support for their children with Down syndrome. DSAIE has grown from a group of two families to hundreds of families and individuals in seventeen cities throughout the Inland Empire.

- To provide advocacy, resources, and support to families and individuals affected by Down syndrome.
- To empower individuals with Down syndrome to reach their full potential
The Down Syndrome Association of Inland Empire is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and an affiliate of the National Down Syndrome Society and the National Down Syndrome Congress.
